Coolants & Lubricants

All reliable compressors in the world need routine lubricant changes to maintain peak performance.

That’s why Air Power has developed a range of lubricants that have been specially formulated, guaranteeing optimum compressor performance whilst keeping maintenance costs down.

Air Power approved lubricants are designed to: –

  • Cool
  • Seal
  • Lubricate

Under the Fluid Force brand the lubricants offer high quality solutions for a wide range of compressor applications. They have been specially formulated to exhibit excellent anti-foaming properties.

The Air Power range of approved lubricants are: –

  • FF V2000 (A mineral-based lubricant refined for vane compressors operating under normal conditions).
  • FF S2000 (A mineral-based lubricant refined for screw compressors operating under normal conditions).
  • FF4000 (A synthetic-based high performance PAO lubricant for vane compressors operating under severe conditions).
  • FF SSC46 (A synthetic-based high performance PAO lubricant for screw compressors operating under severe conditions).
  • FF FSC300 (A synthetic-based PAO lubricant with USDA H1 approval for vane compressors use in food and environmentally sensitive applications).
  • FF FSC200 (A synthetic-based PAO lubricant with USDA H1 approval for screw compressors use in food and environmentally sensitive applications).
  • FF Flushsolv (A varnish removing lubricant for use in compressor cleaning).

Oil level should be monitored daily and the compressor top up where necessary. All approved lubricants have been extensively field tested within a wide range of compressor sites and applications. Technical data sheets and MSDS available upon request.

It is important to note that only Air Power approved lubricants should be used, cheaper non-genuine lubricants do NOT offer the same quality. They may cause significant damage to the compressor, reducing its life and incurring costly repair costs. In addition, your warranty cover will be invalidated.
